We’re not sure who to believe anymore so let’s look at the recent developments from the last few days regarding Sergio Ramos and his proposed move to Manchester United.
Sergio Ramos seems to have made up his mind, he wants to leave.
How do we know this? BBC Sport and Marca are both reporting from sources within Real Madrid that Sergio Ramos is keen on leaving, but only if the offer is from Manchester United. This is obviously a pretty big deal. Former Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon has told the BBC
“He only wants to go to United.”
Real Madrid fans aren’t happy and in a pole, voted to sell him.
In a poll by the Spanish Newspaper AS, 55% of fans voted to sell Ramos. The poll involved some 25,000 Real Madrid fans who appear set on getting rid of Ramos, fearing he has too much ‘player power’.
He’ll be key to any deal involving David De Gea
Jamie Jackson of the Guardian and well respected Journalist has said United are happy to let De Gea wind down his contract and leave on a free next summer if Real Madrid are unwilling to include Sergio Ramos in any deal for the Spanish Goalkeeper.

A sizeable bid has been made for the defender, who is now 29 and not getting any younger. Madrid seem to think they can hold out for more.

There is another HUGE plot twist, Sergio Ramos may be using Manchester United as one big bluff
Earlier in the summer, a potential candidate for the Barcelona presidency declared that Sergio Ramos’ representatives had approached Barcelona about potentially bidding for the defender. Barcelona dismissed the interest, under the impression they were just being used to get Ramos a better deal at Madrid.
If this is the case, it’s all one big ruse and Manchester United are just being used. Could Woodward and co. potentially fall for it?
