Everton’s determination to land Crystal Palace forward Yannick Bolasie has seen them return with a second offer for the 27-year-old, according to reports on Monday evening.
The Toffees saw a bid of £18m for the DR Congo winger rejected by Palace yesterday, but with the second bid believed to be in and around the asking price, the Eagles have reportedly reluctantly agreed.
The terms of the deal, according to Sky Sports, are that it will be an initial fee of £25m, with the rest coming in the form of various add-ons in a transfer that could end up totalling £30m.
However, the Liverpool Echo have contradicted this slightly by saying that while Everton are closing in on Bolasie’s signature, Sky Sports have jumped the gun a bit with the announcement that a deal is already in place.
That said, they do still expect an agreement to be reached between the two clubs, possibly within the next 24 hours, in what has become an extremely busy week at Goodison Park.

John Stones completed a £47.5m move to Manchester City late last night, with a £12m deal agreed for Swansea captain to replace the departed 22-year-old.
Sky Sports are also reporting that an £18m bid has been lodged with Sunderland for defender Lamine Koné, with the Ivory Coast international allegedly at Everton’s training ground Finch Farm today to discuss personal terms.
Whether an official agreement has been reached or not yet, it seems almost certain that Bolasie will be an Everton player in the very near future.
