It’s 28 years today since 96 people lost their lives at Hillsborough during Liverpool’s FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest.
The footballing world pays tribute every year on April 15th to those affected by the disaster in 1989.
Manchester United, themselves not strangers to tragedy and local rivals Everton both sent messages Liverpool’s way earlier today and Borussia Dortmund are the latest to post a very classy tribute to the victims.

The two clubs have a good relationship best seen when both sets of supporters joined in song to belt out “You’ll Never Walk Alone” before their Europa League encounter at Anfield last season.
The famous Yellow Wall in the Westfalenstadion sang the famous ballad in 2014 in a special tribute to Hillsborough on the 25th anniversary.
The Merseysiders were quick to support the Bundesliga side on Tuesday after the attack on their team bus en route to their game with Monaco.

The Reds take on West Brom tomorrow in a massive game with United taking on champions-elect Chelsea soon after. If both results were to go their way, Champions League qualification would be more or less secure.
