West Bromwich Albion have today confirmed the signing of winger Nacer Chadli from Tottenham Hotspur.
Though neither party disclosed the amount, it is widely believed that the Baggies have paid £13m for the Belgian international, eclipsing the £12m paid for Salomón Rondón last summer.

The 27-year-old has signed a four year contract at the Hawthorns, and moves to the club having spent three years at Tottenham.
Speaking to the West Brom website upon his arrival, Chadli spoke of his amibtions at his new club:
“I feel very good to be here. It came very quickly but I spoke to the Club and they have a good team, a good manager and I am very pleased to be here.
“My ambitions? I just want to help the team win as many games as possible.”
Manager Tony Pulis also gave a statement, expressing his delight at having signed a player of Chadli’s calibre:
“He’s a top, top player and I’m delighted we’ve got him.
“I said last week that these signings all had to be about players who would improve our squad – and Nacer does precisely that.”

The Belgian international is the first arrival through the door this week on what promises to be a very busy few days for West Brom. Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho is set to sign for the club either tomorrow or Wednesday, as both teams are believed to be close to agreeing a fee of around €18m for the Spaniard.
