Chelsea have announced the signing of Belgium international striker Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.
The 22 year-old was a man in demand after putting in a remarkable season with the French club.
With 17 Ligue 1 goals in 26 appearances last season, Batshuayi was included in Belgium’s Euro 2016 squad, and didn’t disappoint, putting in a barnstorming performance as the Red Devils blew Hungary away in the round of 16.
The Pensioners announced the acquisition today.

Michy Batshuayi is a top class operator, and is one of the most promising young strikers in Europe, so this is a major coup for Chelsea.
He will help out the forwards and help share the scoring burden with the likes of Diego Costa.
The young star spoke of his excitement about the move on the Chelsea website.
“I am delighted to sign for one of the biggest clubs in Europe and embark on the next chapter in my career. I hope I can help Chelsea win many trophies during my time at Stamford Bridge.
“Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois have told me many good things about the club, and with Antonio Conte coming in it’s an exciting time to become a Chelsea player.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for myself and my family, I am looking forward to playing in the Premier League next season.”
