Manchester City and Chelsea are facing off in a highly-entertaining Premier League fixture on Saturday afternoon.

An end-to-end match has featured a number of chances from both sides, with the deadlock finally broken just before half time as Chelsea’s Gary Cahill acrobatically volleyed the ball into his own net.

Man City had chances to double their advantage, but the best of them came to Kevin De Bruyne ten minutes into the restart. A brilliant ball was played by Jesus Navas across the face of goal, and when the ball came to the Belgian international (and former Chelsea player) it looked as though there was only going to be one outcome.

The old saying goes that it would be harder to miss than score a chance like that, but somehow De Bruyne managed to smash the ball off of the crossbar with the goal at his mercy.

To add insult to injury, Diego Costa equalised for Chelsea just moments later.

At the time of writing the score remains 1-1, but given the way both sides have been defending it would not be a surprise to see several more goals in this match.
