Cork City Launch New Home Kit For 2017 Season

Cork City have become the latest club to unveil a new home kit for the 2017 League of Ireland season.

As usual, the kit will be green in colour, and the club has decided to move away from the white vertical stripe from the 2015/16 kit. Instead, City will wear a kit with a different shade of green on the shoulders, as is the latest standard Nike template for teams such as France, England and Portugal.

Once again manufactured by Nike, the kit will be worn for the first time by City in their President’s Cup clash with Dundalk at Turners Cross later this month in a match that will see the two renew their rivalry for the first time since the FAI Cup final last November.

In transfer news, meanwhile, Shamrock Rovers have bolstered their squad with the signings of midfielder Samuel Bone and forward Graham Burke. Ex-Charlton man Bone and Burke, formerly of Aston Villa and Notts County, arrive at the Tallaght Stadium as Stephen Bradley, now installed as full-time manager at Rovers, looks to improve on last year’s fourth-place finish in the Premier Division table.
