Club President Denies Any Manchester United Bid For His Star Player

While attention is firmly fixed on the potential deal for Paul Pogba’s return, United had also been edging towards bringing Hirving Lozano to Manchester, or so it seemed.

Lozano’s current club, Pachuca, have firmly denied any such negotiations. Diego Alonso, the team’s manager, had this to say, as quoted by The People’s Person.

“I am very calm because I know he has spoken with club officials. He spoke with [president] Jesus Martinez and they explained to him the reality of the situation,

“And the reality is that today he must be fully focused on Pachuca because there is absolutely nothing [with United].

“Logically there is going to be interest but there have been no offers. If we get an offer he will be the first to know it, but we plan for El Chucky to be with us throughout the rest of the season.”

Just last week, the player’s family claimed that the deal was “done” and was only awaiting completion after the Olympics.
