Petr Cech made a horrible mistake last night away to Swansea, with a miskick that would put the Swans 2-1 ahead against the Gunners before winning the match 3-1
It was a bad day at the office for Arsenal last night with their seventhth loss of the season, this time away to Swansea who sat bottom of the league. In their first game since Alexis Sanchez’ official departure, Arsenal were poor overall. It was Petr Cech who would have a nightmare as his mishit attempt at a clearance gifted Jordan Ayew a goal just after the hour mark to put Swansea 2-1 ahead.
Just eight mins later Cech would fail to catch a simple cross from a Swansea free kick, gifting them a corner. Sam Clucas would score a 2nd of the night in the 86th minute to ensure Swansea three points which would lift them out of the relegation zone into 17th place.
Cech late took to social media to apologies for his part in Ayew’s
Although mistakes are part of the game I always expect 100 % from myself and I’m not happy with the one I made today … back to work tomorrow !
