Daley Blind’s Manchester United career looks set to come to an end this weekend.
The Dutch international has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, and a report in the De Telegraaf has alleged that a deal has been agreed to take Blind back to former club Ajax.
The report has since been corroborated by BBC Sport, meaning that a deal that will see the 28-year-old return to his homeland for an initial €16m (potentially rising to €21m) is very close to fruition.
Daley Blind to Ajax is indeed happening. £14m up to £18.5m. @ManUtd have work to do but no current plan to ignite interest in Toby Alderweireld.

Blind arrived at Man United in a £13.8m deal in 2014, following former Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal to the club after their successful World Cup 2014 campaign. However, while he was a favourite of the compatriot, he has struggled for game time since Van Gaal was replaced by Jose Mourinho in the summer of 2016.
In all, he made just four Premier Leauge starts last season (though, somewhat oddly, he remained a regular in the Champions League squads) and always looked likely to be sacrificed this summer as Mourinho looks to continue his squad rebuild.
Man United have yet to confirm the deal, but it is anticipated that they will do so before they embark on their pre-season tour of the United States this weekend.
