BBC’s Garth Crooks Names PL Team Of The Week & Takes A Bizarre Pop At Paul Pogba

Garth Crooks has had a rather bizarre dig at Paul Pogba while naming his Premier League team of the week.

BBC pundit Garth Crooks is known for his frequently bizarre selections in his Premier League team of the week. However, in naming this week’s XI, Crooks managed to go off on a bizarre tangent as he fired shots at Paul Pogba’s hair while discussing Choupo-Moting’s inclusion in his selection.

Having impressed in their opening three fixtures, United struggled against a strong Stoke side at the Britannia on Saturday evening and left with only a point to show for their efforts.

For Crooks, Pogba’s new hairstyle was the only point of note from United’s outing however as he slammed the France international for ‘behaving like an adolescent’.

I also want to discuss Paul Pogba’s new hairstyle, which features a red streak. I only mention it because he clearly wants to bring it to our attention. There is so much for the midfielder to do at United and he still insists on behaving like an adolescent.

Granted, a hairstyle is not going to determine how well he can control a ball or make a pass, but it does say something about where his mind is at the moment. If you are going to attract attention to yourself on a football pitch do it with goals and performances, not cheap gimmicks and marketing tricks.
