Astonishing Report About Paul Pogba and Real Madrid’s History

What might have been.

It’s been well publicised that Manchester United let Paul Pogba go to Juventus for little more than pocket change back in 2012. It’s come out today that Real Madrid made a similar mistake.

Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol took to Twitter today to break the news.

All that means, if Los Blancos were to sign the French starlet this summer for the reported fee of £100 million, they would be paying 1,000 times what they could have done just four years ago.

The same reporter also had the following to say:

That will come as a blow to United fans after it looking increasingly likely in recent days that the midfielder could return to the club.

Should Pogba end up plying his trade in the white of Real next season, it would likely mean that Real would have broken the transfer record for the third time in a row.
