This surely wouldn’t make a lot of sense for Arsenal…
When Arsene Wenger announced earlier this month that he predicted a very ‘busy’ transfer window for Arsenal, many would have assumed that the French manager was referring to player acquisitions rather than sales.
However, as the clock ticks down to the closing of the transfer window, it seems all the Gunners are being linked with is player exits as three potential loan moves are now being touted.
Sky sources: Arsenal expect both Mathieu Debuchy and Serge Gnabry to leave the club on loan before the 11pm deadline.

Consistent reports have suggested that Mathieu Debuchy will leave the club on loan this evening with a deal that will take him to Bordeaux looking likely.
Meanwhile, after Serge Gnabry’s disastrous spell with West Brom that saw him recalled to the Emirates, Arsene Wenger has also stated that another loan move for the German could be likely before the 11pm deadline tonight.
Although Debuchy and Gnabry’s exits won’t be viewed as catastrophic by Arsenal supporters, breaking news this evening will certainly sting if proved to be true as reports are now claiming that Wenger is considering a loan move that would see Alex Oxlade Chamerlain joining Southampton until the end of the season.

Although ‘The Ox’ isn’t a guaranteed starter at the Emirates, he is certainly viewed as a valuable squad member at the Emirates and brings an added dimension to the Arsenal attack.
With the Gunners looking to challenge for the title in the coming months, a decision to loan out the England international would certainly seem like an odd move for Wenger to sanction.
