Speaking to BeIn Sports, Arsene Wenger finally announced that he will 100% be staying at Arsenal next season.
Over the past few weeks, the pressure on Arsene Wenger at the Emirates has become so intense that it has been unlike anything the Frenchman has ever faced at the club.
Since first taking charge at Arsenal over 20 years ago, Wenger has retained the support of the majority of the club’s fans throughout his tenure… until now.
In recent weeks, it seems that there is a growing sentiment and consensus among a significant portion of the club’s fans that Wenger’s time is finally up and that it would be in the club’s best interests for him to move on. However, it seems the most important man in the equation does not agree.
Speaking to BeIn Sports over the weekend, Wenger stated that he ignores the calls for him to leave, that his conscience is clear and that he has absolutely no doubt that he will remain at the club next season.
