Jack Wilshere’s Move To Roma Breaks Down, Bournemouth Loan Likely

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will not be moving to Serie A after his move to Italian giants AS Roma broke down this afternoon.

Reliable journalist James Horncastle has tweeted from one of his sources that Wilshere will not be leaving the Gunners for a move abroad.

The news that the club were open to allowing the England international to leave temporarily came as a shock to the Arsenal faithful, who hold the injury-prone midfielder in high regard.

A move to Italy could have presumably signalled the end of Wilshere’s career at the Emirates, but now there has seemingly been a breakthrough regarding a move to Premier League side AFC Bournemouth.

Eddie Howe’s side have been looking to strengthen since their opening weekend defeat to Manchester United, and Wilshere would certainly add quality to Eddie Howe’s side.

Former Arsenal striker Benik Afobe has hinted that the move is ‘possible’ in a walk-by conversation with Sky Sports.

Any move for Wilshere will have to be wrapped up quickly however, with the transfer window coming to a close at 11 pm tonight.
