With Liverpool launching their third kit in the dead of night on Friday, Arsenal have followed suit by unveiling their new shirts in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Arsenal are, like Liverpool, in the United States as part of their pre-season preparations and played against the MLS All-Stars on Friday morning where they beat their opponents 2-1.
The Gunners officially unveiled both their away and third-choice kits at an event in Los Angeles (which, for some reason, had a number of celebrities such as actor Jamie Foxx present) as they become the latest club to reveal their complement of kits for the new season.
Santi Cazorla, Nacho Monreal and Héctor Bellerín were on hand to model the new kits, with Gunners legend Freddie Ljungberg adding a further bit of star power to the proceedings.

Arsenal have a long-standing tradition of wearing yellow away kits and, after last season’s gold effort, return to the colour once more, with dark grey trim and shorts.
The third kit, meanwhile, will divide opinion somewhat. Combining navy with a luminous green trim is something of a gamble from manufacturers Puma – in fact it is probably their riskiest effort since they started making kits for Arsenal back in 2014.
Still, third-choice kits are rarely used – and the chances of the Gunners having to wear this because of a colour clash with their main two shirts are very slim.
Arsenal continue their pre-season preparation with a friendly against Chivas de Guadalajara at the StubHub Center in LA on Monday morning.
