Done Deal: Arsenal’s Second Summer Signing Confirmed

It has been announced that Arsenal have signed Nigerian 18 year-old Kelechi Nwakali. The teenager confirmed the news on his Twitter account.

Nwakali changed his bio to reveal the news.

This comes after the news that Switzerland international Granit Xhaka will also be joining the Gunners this summer.

This is a boost for the Gunners as the highly-rated youngster is a prospect for the future.

While this is a positive move for Arsenal, the Emirates faithful will be eager to see the club make a move for some more established stars so they can challenge for honours this season.

The Gunners fell off the pace in the second half of last year as Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur battled it out for the Premier League title. While the Gunners eventually finished above their North London rivals, in truth they were never in contention for the title after February.

It’s a done deal, so there are no more room for rumours here.
