With it looking increasingly likely that José Mourinho will bring Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Manchester United, Arsenal have looked elsewhere.
It was previously reported by Italian football journalist Emanuele Giulianelli that the Gunners are interested in Atletico Madrid attacker, Yannick Ferreira Carrasco, lined up.
Arsenal asked Atletico Madrid to be allowed to make a bid for Carrasco. Atletico available to listen. About €20/25mln

Now, as they look set to miss out on “Micki”, although the deal in Manchester is far from done, they are reigniting their interest in the Belgian attacker.
Giulianelli now reports to The Sport Review:
“If Mkhitaryan joins Manchester United it [Carrasco to Arsenal] could come back as a likely move.”
Carrasco joined Atleti in 2015 after making 82 appearances for Monaco, bagging 15 goals. He scored Atletico’s equaliser against Real Madrid in the 2016 Champions League Final.
Arsene Wenger is believed to be interested in a number of targets as the London club attempt to go one better in the league next year after finishing second in the last campaign.
The news is also a boost for Manchester United fans as it appears the competition for Mkhitaryan’s signature may be fading.
