The mood amongst Arsenal fans isn’t at an all-time high right now, as the Gunners head for the end of the transfer window with the future of Alexis Sanchez in doubt, and a host of their high profile stars set to be out of contract at the end of the season.
To compound their problems, Arsene Wenger’s side have made a poor start to the Premier League season, occupying 16th place in the table after losing two of their opening three games, in which they have conceded eight goals.
With their primary goal of breaking back into the top four already looking shaky, morale is not high around the Emirates Stadium.
Alexandre Lacazette remains the sole acquisition of the summer so far, but fans are bracing themselves for numerous departures in the coming days.
Today, it has been confirmed that Kieran Gibbs has left London for West Brom.
The England fullback is the latest addition to the Baggies, in what has been a promising summer for the Premier League outfit up to this point, after the signed Oliver Burke, Gareth Barry, Ahmed Hegazi and Jay Rodriguez.
With Wenger employing a three-man defence so far this season, Gibbs has struggled for game-time, and have made the switch to West Brom with a four-year contract.
