Arsenal could be without a key player for their match with Hull.
According to The Express, Olivier Giroud’s week could be about to get a whole lot worse, after James Cambridge reported that the French striker could miss Arsenal game with Hull on Saturday.
Not only was the striker sent off in the dying minutes of Arsenal’s Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week, but he also injured his big toe during the ill tempered game.
When asked whether or not he would be making any changes other than returning Petr Cech to the starting team against Hull, Arsene Wenger replied, ‘No. Olivier Giroud has a knock on Tuesday night, I have to check if he is alright’.
This leaves the prospect of Alexis Sanchez once more leading the line against the Tigers, a selection that will raise concern among some supporters.
While the Chilean did score Arsenal’s equaliser against PSG, the Gunners looked far more dangerous with Giroud playing upfront.
