After successive 2-1 defeats at the hands of Everton and Manchester City respectively, Arsenal need to return to winning ways over the coming weeks if they are to maintain a credible title challenge.
Although the hectic festive fixture list doesn’t aid teams who need time on the training field to turn things round, or overcome injuries to key players, Arsenal have been handed three winnable Premier League games over the Christmas period.
Before facing an away trip to Bournemouth on January 3, Arsenal have back-to-back home games against West Brom and Crystal Palace to get their league campaign back on track.
In their bid to do just that, the Gunners have received a massive triple injury boost, after Arsene Wenger confirmed that Danny Welbeck, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey have all returned to full training and should be available for selection.
Although the trio might not be regular starters in Wenger’s first XI, the fact that Arsenal face four matches in just 13 days will force the Gunners boss to rotate his squad. Indeed, with Santi Cazorla injured, the return of Ramsey will come as a welcome relief for Arsenal fans.
