Arsenal Fans React To A Late, Controversial Win As Koscielny Strikes In Injury Time

Arsenal fans’ emotions are all over the place after Laurent Koscielny scored a 92nd-minute winner to propel them into third in what was a tight encounter against Burnley.

However, a storm of controversy surrounds the goal as there is concrete suggestions that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain kicked the ball into the hand of Koscielny, who also looked to be in an offside position.

Alexis Sanchez had hit the outside of the post from twelve yards earlier in the game, whilst Burnley centre-back Michael Keane struck the crossbar with a header immediately after the Chilean’s near miss.

The victory edges the Gunners past Liverpool, who themselves secured a win late on due to James Milner’s penalty at Swansea on Saturday.

The three points extend the club’s winning run with the London outfit in a rich vein of form following Premier League victories against Watford, Southampton, Chelsea and now Burnley.

Here’s the best reaction from Twitter.

We don’t think Shkodran Mustafi will be as unhappy with the referee after allowing that goal..
