Bayern Munich have already had a positive week, disposing of Arsenal in the Champions League with three extra goals to spare. However, they haven’t eased up after drubbing the London club 5-1, and broke the deadlock at home to Stuttgart with an amazing piece of counter attacking.
The 2013 Champions League winners were defending a corner from the opposition, and broke superbly with some deft passing when they won back the ball. Douglas Costa marauded his way into the Stuttgart penalty area, before feeding Arjen Robben who was able to finish the move off by chesting it into the open net.
The celebration was not half bad either.
This just goes to show what a dangerous team Bayern Munich are, and they will be a real threat again in Europe this season. They are currently on top of the Bundesliga table, five points clear of closest rivals Borussia Dortmund. The champions are still unbeaten, with ten wins and a draw from their 11 games to date.
Germany and Europe, beware.
