After a thirty-six year absence, Los Incas are keen to make an impression in Russia this summer as they try to prove that all good things come to those who wait.
With just under two weeks to go until the start of the World Cup, the Football Association of Peru, FPF, released a classy video that will fill any Peruvians heart with pure joy and happiness, and give them belief that they can go on to achieve great things at this summer’s tournament.
In the video clip, it talks about the struggles of not only reaching the World Cup, but also the economic and social difficulties that the country has faced over the past number of years, while also making reference to their unique culture and national pride.
Peruvians can certainly have some pride in themselves after qualifying from what is arguably the most difficult qualification area in international football.
If the following video is anything to go by, France, Denmark and Australia will have their work cut out for them as they prepare to face a team determined to give a good showing after their captain, Paolo Guerrero, was banned from the competing after a failed drugs test.
Dear @Socceroos ,
It will be an honor to compete against you in the @FIFAWorldCup . As you know, we have been away from the FWC for a long time, that is why we have prepared this video to remind you of who we are.
See you soon.#ArribaPeru pic.twitter.com/wVUkwTqN3a
