Twitter and several reputable newspapers have jumped the gun and are now saying Morgan Schneiderlin’s move to Manchester United is completed.
What a week it’s been for Manchester United. From looking like they’d never sign anybody and may be losing stars, to two midfielders in the space of a few days and a promising right-back too.
After waiting years to replace players like Roy Keane and Paul Scholes, United went all in on Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin. We know the Bayern man’s deal is wrapped up but it looks like the Southampton deal has been concluded too.

Thats big. News of the deal has spread too and it looks like Manchester United fans WILL get to see their new man on the US Tour.

Interesting to note know official fee has been leaked. It may be in both clubs interest to keep that quiet. Someone likely caved and Manchester United won’t want to look like they overpaid. Nor will Southampton want to appear to have let a star go on the cheap.
Another interesting point to note, thanks to U/benji-21 on Reddit is that if we go off of the reported fees, United have got a very good deal so far on their new players.
If the fees quoted are true, we have spent £51.4m on Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger and Darmian (£24m, £14.4m and £13m respectively), while City have spent £49m on Sterling alone.
