It has been confirmed that Andreas Pereira is moving to La Liga club Granada on loan for the season. Manchester United manager José Mourinho clearly feels that there is no room for the 20 year-old in the first team this year, but the club are certainly keen to hold onto his services.
As announced on the club’s official website, Pereira will be with the Spanish club for the entire season.
Speaking on the issue, Mourinho was happy with the move.
“I love Andreas Pereira as a player and I would love to have him in my squad, but he will go to Granada.”
Pereira made 20 appearances for the Red Devils under Louis Van Gaal, and scored in the preseason friendly against Wigan last month.
The Brazilian youngster is highly rated, and has a big future ahead of him. It is a move that makes sense for all parties.
Granada signing Sergi Samper and Andreas Pereira on loan is some quality business??

Pereira loaned to Granada. Imagine Mourinho was manager of Arsenal. Iwobi wouldn’t be near the first team, wouldn’t have developed Bellerin

Sort of gutted about Pereira leaving on loan but he needed playing time. Will come back stronger
