There is an interesting season ahead for Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera. Only signed 12 months ago, the former Bilbao man must now fight for his place in the United first team, or potentially face a season on the bench.
Since signing last summer, Ander Herrera has rapidly become a fans favourite at Old Trafford. His battling nature and absurd shots/goals ratio has many eager to see him on the pitch again this season.
The Red Devils opened their Premier League campaign against Tottenham over the weekend and struggled to a one goal victory. Herrera didn’t start the game but he did come off the bench in the second half which should prove encouraging as the 25 year old will look to prove himself in the coming weeks.
The former Athletic Bilbao man took part in a quickfire Q&A session with MUTV recently that was published on United’s official Facebook page and he revealed some fun facts about himself.
Herrera goes into his interests in a vast array of sports and also explains the reason why he has both names on the back of his jersey.
