Wales are in Euro 2016 action against Russia this evening, looking to book their place in the knockout stages of the competition.

Knowing a win would guarantee their place in the next round they got the best possible start when, just after the ten minute mark, midfielders Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey combined to put the Chris Coleman’s side into the lead with a delightful pass and finish.

Twitter users were very quick to show their appreciation for both the pass and finish:

Wales have since scored a second courtesy of Swansea full back Neil Taylor, and now look on course to join England in the last sixteen of the tournament.
