After a tense battle with Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, Manchester United managed to walk away with the three points after a strike from Ashley Young ended up in the back of the net in the 66th minute.
Prior to the breakthrough, United looked to be really struggling with countless crosses into the box proving to be entirely fruitless. However, a rather large slice of luck handed Jose Mourinho’s side the lead in the second half after an effort from the in-form Ashley Young was deflected into the top corner.
The goal looked to be perfectly legal during the live coverage with the commentators finding absolutely no issue with Young’s strike. However, some eagle-eyed viewers have spotted some suspect behaviour from the Red Devil’s frontman with Romelu Lukaku appearing to kick out at his marker moments before the ball hit the back of the net.
Deflected goal from a corner that wasn’t even a corner all while Lukaku blatantly fouls a Brighton player and nothing is called. #TheUnitedWay

Goal shouldn’t of stood! Lukaku should have been punished for twice kicking out at the Brighton player when the ball came in from the corner!

SHOCK, HORROR. MOTD don’t even mention Lukaku and his sly kick in the balls of the Brighton defender. Retrospective action only happens for some clubs. FA and BBC are in this together. Corrupt bastards

Watching Lukaku kick out twice at Brighton defender, will he be treated like Niasse by the F.A ?
I think not !!— Mark Potts (@markpotts59) November 26, 2017
