Manchester United have confirmed that a deal is in place to sell Daley Blind back to Ajax.
Speculation had been rife over the weekend that the versatile Dutch international was set to complete a return to the Eredivisie side, and Man United have now confirmed this to be the case.

While the Premier League side have yet to confirm the transfer fee, it is thought that it will cost Ajax an initial £14m – potentially rising to £18.5m if the proposed add-ons are met – to bring Blind back to the Eredivisie.
The 28-year-old, a product of the Ajax youth academy, stayed behind in England while Man United travelled to the United States as part of their pre-season preparations. His departure is not wholly unexpected, as he had fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford to the point where he made just four Premier League starts for the club last season.
Blind, should he complete the move, will become the second Premier League player to swap the Premier League for Ajax this summer, following the earlier acquisition of Serbian forward Dusan Tadic from Southampton.
