Watch: Ronaldo Sends Allianz Stadium Into Silence With Sublime First-Time Goal

Juventus got off to the worst possible start in their quarter-final clash with Real Madrid at the Allianz Stadium.

Just three minutes into the game, Madrid sent a ball into the box and that man Cristiano Ronaldo reacted quickest to beat his marker and blast a first-time effort into the far corner of the net, out of reach of the outstretched Gianluigi Buffon.

Juve did react well to the goal and Gonzalo Higuain, against his former club, really should have scored when he hit a shot from point-blank range but somehow, Keylor Navas, managed to produce a superb reaction save to keep his side 1-0 in front.

As the game approaches half-time, Juve will be hoping to get into the dressing room without conceding further which would effectively rule them out of the tie with a trip to the Bernabeu to come.
