There is another round of Premier League fixtures taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Tonight sees four matches take place in England’s top-flight as we edge ever nearer to the congested festive schedule.
We’re approaching halftime in tonight’s fixtures and as of the time of writing, there have only been two goals registered, the first of which was that boy Jamie Vardy.
The 2015/2016 Premier League Player Of The Season took only 13 minutes to put his side into the lead and this finish is a reminder of why he was awarded the accolade two seasons ago.
Marc Albrighton picks up the ball on the wing, he spots Vardy making a run and he plays a delightful ball over the top into the path of the 30-year-old. Vardy does excellently to let the ball come over his shoulder and dink the ball into the far corner of the net, first time – incredible.
As you would expect with such a great finish, there was plenty of plaudits on social media.
