Harry Maguire’s injury-time goal saw the away support at St. Mary’s go absolutely bananas as he secured a valuable three points for Leicester City in their Premier League clash with Southampton.
Southampton had been leading from the 52nd minute thanks to a goal from Ryan Bertrand, but the 2015/16 Premier League champions hit back through Demarai Gray and England’s standout player at the World Cup, Harry Maguire.
It will be Maguire who will grab the headlines as he scored a superb solo effort from outside the box with just two minutes of injury time remaining.
Maguire made a trademark burst into the Southampton half before passing the ball to one of his teammates. He got it back again before striding into space which opened up in front of him before drilling a low, powerful shot into the bottom corner.
