Republic of Ireland international Callum Robinson looks set for a move to the Premier League.
Preston North End have confirmed this afternoon that they have accepted a bid from a Premier League club for the 24-year-old’s services.
“Preston North End can confirm they have accepted a bid from a Premier League club for forward Callum Robinson,” a statement read.
“The player has been given permission to leave the team’s Irish training camp in order to discuss personal terms and undertake a medical ahead of a proposed move.
“There will be no further comment from the club at this time.”
The 24-year-old has been the subject of interest from Norwich, Burnley and Sheffield United and it seems that Preston are cashing in on the player whose contract runs out at the end of the upcoming season.
In the Championship last season, Robinson recorded 12 goals and three assists in 24 starts.
