Both sides have named their starting XIs for this afternoon’s clash at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium and Uruguay have been dealt a massive blow with the news that Edinson Cavani misses out due to a calf problem.

Cavani was a major doubt for this clash but fans were hopeful that he would be able to make a recovery after having such a significant impact in their Round of 16 win against Portugal.

France have made one change with Corentin Tolisso replacing the suspended Blaise Matuidi in midfield while Cristhian Stuani comes in for the injured Cavani who isn’t even named among the substitutes.
