Some really nice words.

Paul Pogba has paid tribute to Mino Raiola following the football agent’s death this weekend.

Raiola passed away at the age of 54, his family confirmed on Saturday, after a bizarre situation a few days previously where his death was falsely reported by the Italian media, and as a result, the wider world.

Raiola represents some of the world’s most high-profile footballers, including Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Erling Haaland.

PSG and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma shared an interesting response too, insisting that he made a promise to Raiola and that it will definitely be kept.

He wrote: “I’m so sad that I don’t even know if I’ll be able to say everything I want.

β€œMino, you have been unique to me. I thank you for being by my side since I was a kid until today, and I know that even from up there, you will always be watching me and cheering for me on as you always have.

β€œI made you a promise long ago, know that I will keep it. I love you, I miss you already.”
