All in good fun…
Aaron Ramsdale mocked Rob Holding over his hair transplant, after the Arsenal defender ended a six-year goal draught on Sunday evening.
Holding scored the opener against West Ham on Sunday in Arsenal’s 2-1 win in what could be a crucial win in the race for top four.
The win keeps Arsenal ahead of Spurs, who also won on Sunday, with Mikel Arteta’s side in pole position to get Champions League football.
Speaking after the game, Ramsdale complimented Holding for slotting into the team due to Ben White’s injury.
However, even when praising his performance, the England goalkeeper managed to get a dig in about Holding’s hair situation.
Aaron Ramsdale on Rob Holding
He said: “It’s only taken six years and a new hairline!”
He continued: “This man has come in for Ben, so it shows that we’ve got depth in our squad. It might be a little bit of depth, but it’s quality.
“We can rely on each other and we’re going to need each and every one of us to do this until the end of the season.
“Every game from now until the end of the season is vital for us to get three points for that fourth place, or third place if we’re looking even higher.”
"It only took six years!" 🤣

Rob Holding at Arsenal
Ramsdale made an excellent save in the first-half of the game, and has proven to be quite a smart signing for Arteta’s team.
However, despite their impressive end to the season, they will need to strengthen in the transfer window if they are to compete in the Champions League next year.
A large reason Arsenal have kept ahead of the pack this season is due to only playing one game a week, and Arteta has shown in the past that he is not the best-equipped to deal with a busy schedule.
