The ongoing discussion surrounding the international future of Jordon Ibe appears to have finally been resolved, with the Liverpool star apparently committing to the Three Lions.
Ibe is eligible to play for both Nigeria and England due to the nationality of his parents, but has chosen for the latter according to current Nigerian national boss, Sunday Oliseh. It was hardly a major surprise for Oliseh however, as Ibe has represented England throughout his youth.
Oliseh revealed Ibe’s decision via Twitter on Sunday.
Jordon Ibe’s Family Informed me by a Telephone call, that He was giving priority to an England call up.We wish them well.

The decision to commit to Roy Hodgson’s squad means Nigerian fans will not get the chance to see Ibe link up with fellow Premier League players, John Obi Mikel and Peter Odemwingie, anytime soon. What a mouth-watering partnership that would have been…
