Spurs’ recent injury crisis in the striking department almost represented an opportunity to impress however now that fellow young forward Kazaiah Sterling has left the club on loan, Parrott may find chances easier to come by.
Parrott has impressed hugely at underage level for Spurs this season scoring 11 goals in just seven games in the U18s Premier League and featuring in the UEFA Youth League as well as the Premier League 2.
Stephen Kenny also namechecked the 17-year old as a player he may fast track into the U21s set up following his standout performances at U19s level for the Boys in Green.
The former Belvedere striker has been likened to Robbie Keane by some and with Spurs his home for the foreseeable future, Parrott may get the chance to follow in the legendary Irish strikers’ footsteps.
