Seani Maguire Grabs Brace To Continue Scintillating Pre-Season Form

Preston and Republic of Ireland striker Seani Maguire has been in incredible goal scoring form for his club this pre-season.

Maguire was playing for Preston against National League side AFC Flyde and bagged a brace as the Championship side romped to a 6-1 victory.

Fellow Irish international Callum Robinson was also on the scorsheet for the Deepdale side grabbing two goals in the win.

This makes it five goals in just two games for the ex Cork City man after Maguire scored a hat trick in Preston’s previous game, a seven nil victory over Bamber Bridge FC.

New signing Graham Burke also opened his account during the win over Bamber Bridge as he hopes to impress manager Alex Neill before the start of the Championship season.

Maguire had started his Preston in excellent form before an injury caused him to miss a large chunk of the championship season.

The Deepdale striker did however return towards the end of the campaign as Preston failed in a late surge to make the play-offs.
