Republic of Ireland striker Michael Obafemi has scored his first Premier League goal for Southampton during their game against Huddersfield.
The 18-year old came off the bench for the Saints and coolly finished past the Huddersfield keeper for his first goal in the Premier League.
Nathan Redmond did well to capitalise on an error in the Terriers defence and he played the ball to Obafemi who finished with the confidence of a talented young striker.

The tidy finish which put Southampton 1-3 to the good against their bottom half rivals, was also significant as Obafemi becomes the youngest player to score a Premier League goal for the club.
Obafemi made his full international debut when he came on as a substitute in Ireland’s 0-0 draw in the UEFA Nations League last month.
He also becomes the youngest ever Irish player to score a goal in the Premier League.
We hope his goal will be the first of many in the Premier League!
