Republic of Ireland international midfielder Conor Hourihane has been in excellent form for Aston Villa this season and scored a tremendous goal to put his side 2-0 up against Leeds United at Villa Park.
Hourihane received the ball after some excellent work from striker Johnathan Kodjia and 20 yards from goal the midfielder unleashed a curling effort which evaded the reach of Bailey Peacock-Farrell in the Leeds United goal.
The former Barnsley man has been more used to creating goals than scoring them this season but Jack Grealish’s injury has allowed Hourihane to play further forward in the midfield as opposed to the holding role he is more accustomed to.
The build-up from @J_Kodjia ?

The goal was Hourihane’s third this season with all three of them coming from outside the area in rather spectacular style.
