Dundalk and Cork City will be the two clubs involved in the pilot with their upcoming home games being broadcast and if it is deemed a success then it will be rolled out to the other clubs around the league.

Each game will be broadcast in High Definition, accompanied with live commentary and match graphics and individual games will cost €3.99 while four of either club’s matches can be purchased for €9.99.

The service is aimed at overseas fans of the league with the games not available to watch in the Republic of Ireland.
