Ipswich Town picked up midfielder Alan Judge from Brentford as he looks to revive his career with potential future international Will Keane also arriving at the Tractor Boys on a loan deal from Hull City.

Leeds United allowed two young talents to leave on loan in search of game time with Paudie O’Connor joining League One Bradford and Conor Shaughnessy heading to Scottish side Hearts.

Fellow Championship high-fliers Norwich signed Drogheda United prospect William Hondermarck a player who its thought will soon declare for Ireland, while strugglers Reading sent David Meyler to League One Coventry City.

Strugglers AFC Wimbledon made two Irish signings with Dylan Connolly coming in from Dundalk and Shane McLoughlin arriving from Ipswich.

Charlton striker Billy Clarke will join Paudie O’Connor at Bradford after the experienced striker was sent to the Bantams on loan.

Cork City’s Kieran Sadlier made the move to Doncaster Rovers, while Rochdale allowed defender James Finnerty to join Bohemians on a free transfer.

League Two

Plenty of movement in the English fourth tier as Crawley Town defender Mark Connolly joined Scottish side Dundee United and Oldham’s  Courtney Duffus moved to Yeovil Town.

Veteran midfielder Michael Doyle joined Notts County from League One Coventry while Mansfield brought defender Ryan Sweeney in on a free transfer from Stoke City.
