Nigerian Born League Of Ireland Star Secures Move To League 2 Barnet

Barnet have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Bohemians midfielder Fuad Sule.

The English fourth tier’s 22nd placed team announced that the Bohs star has signed for an undisclosed deal and will link up with ex-Wolves and Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee.

Sule was one of the standout midfielders in the league of Ireland last term as Bohemians finished in a respectable fifth place in the standings.

Sule is an energetic midfielder capable of breaking up the play, hassling opponents and playing lovely through balls. He possesses a similar playing style to N’Kolo Kante as so far that he covers so much ground on the pitch and can dispossess players at ease despite his five-foot-six built.

The 20-year-old was born in Nigeria but has declared for Ireland and will hope a move to England will be a stepping stone to improving his profile.

Sule could be just one of a number of League of Ireland players to make the move across the water and joins Patrick McEleney who joined Oldham from Dundalk.
