Ridiculously quick goals seem to be the story of the week after Shane Long’s strike against Watford and Naby Keita has continued that tonight for Liverpool against Huddersfield.
The Guinean footballer hit the back of the net after just 15 seconds during tonight’s Premier League clash after some questionable defending. Mo Salah easily dispossessed Jon Gorenc Stankovic just outside the penalty area and the Egyptian quickly fed Keita who tucked it away.
It was the quickest Premier League goal scored by Liverpool bringing the total to 100 goals in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season.

Although Salah was denied a second goal after seven minutes, Huddersfield eventually settled into the game, forcing a number of corners.
However, Liverpool continued to pressurise with a flying header from Virgil van Dijk and it was the Dutchman who set up their second when he powered through the defence before finding Andrew Robertson who excellently fed Sadio Mane for their second after 23 minutes. The goal brought his total to an impressive ten goals in nine games for the Reds.
Huddersfield continued to leave gaping holes in their defence allowing Daniel Sturridge to have a pop but his effort did little to trouble Jonas Lossl. Jordan Henderson also had a clear chance after 43 minutes but his strike flew over the bar.
The fourth official signalled one minute additional time, much to the relief of the Huddersfield squad, but their ordeal hadn’t finished yet as Salah made it to 3-0 on the stroke of half-time. Trent Alexander-Arnold sent a long ball down which Salah coolly controlled before lobbing it over the goalkeeper.
As it stands, Liverpool are back on top of the Premier League table.
