Reports: John Terry Set To Retire Amid Speculation Of Punditry Career

Football legend John Terry is set to end his 20-year career and take up a position with Sky Sports according to a report in the Sunday Mirror.

The paper is reporting that the 37-year-old who ended his time at Aston Villa in June when his contract expired, has turned down offers to continue his playing career from different teams around the world.

Instead it is believed that the Chelsea legend will join his former England team-mates Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville in the Sky Sports studio, postponing his managerial ambitions.

The report says that the broadcaster is eager to bring Terry in following the departure of Thierry Henry.

Terry made over 500 appearances for Chelsea during his career, winning five Premier League titles. four FA Cups as well as a Champions League title and a Europa League.

He spent the last year of his career at Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa but was not able to see them back to the Premier League.
