Just hours after Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp donated €5,00o to the Sean Cox fund, Republic of Ireland captain, Seamus Coleman followed suit.
A Liverpool spokesperson confirmed that the money was a personal donation from Klopp to the long-time Liverpool fan. Now the Everton defender has followed suit.
Jay McKenna, who is the chair of the Spirit of Shankly, announced the donation on Friday afternoon on Twitter.
One of the latest donations to support Sean Cox is from Jurgen Klopp himself. Do what you can and help Sean and his family.

“The level of solidarity from so many from our community and beyond for Sean, Martina, Jack, Shauna and Emma since this tragic incident has been overwhelming and is deeply appreciated by Sean’s family.”
Cox sustained severe head injuries when he was attacked by ‘Roma Ultras’ outside Anfield and spent months in hospital before being moved to National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire.
