Sean Maguire has done it again.
The former Cork City man marked his return from injury in style on Saturday – netting a brace off the bench as Preston saw off the challenge of Bolton Wanderers on a 3-1 scoreline.
Named on the bench again this evening for their home clash with Bristol City, Maguire was introduced with the scores locked at 1-1, his fellow countryman Alan Browne having opened the scoring in the first half.
To no surprise, it took the Kilkenny native just five minutes to get his name onto the scoresheet with a fantastic individual goal.
The 23-year-old showed some fine feet to turn two Bristol defenders inside out, before slotting into the bottom corner to hand his side the three points.

Maguire’s excellent form will come as a massive boost to his country with Ireland facing into a friendly with Turkey at the end of the month.
He has now scored seven goals in 15 appearances for Preston – and with his composure in front of the goal, the future looks bright for Ireland ahead of the Euro 2020 qualification campaign.
