Dundalk have launched a classy new away strip for the 2018 campaign – with Stephen Kenny’s side set to don the kit for the first time when they face Shamrock Rovers on Friday night.
The kit bears a striking resemblance to the away shirt in which they achieved plenty of Europa League success in 2016 – however, the vertical yellow lines of old have been replaced by a horizontal grey and black style on this occasion.
Made by CX+ Sport, the shirt contains a classy two-button collar and black trims with a predominately grey centre and black striping. They also continue their long-standing partnership with Fyffes whose sponsorship is now in its seventh consecutive season.
Shown off here by Sean Hoare and Robbie Benson, it will make it’s first appearance at the Tallaght Stadium on Friday night, as last year’s runners-up go in search of their first league win of the season following a 0-0 draw with Bray Wanderers in their opener.
A classy strip which compliments a stunning home jersey is now one of the finest duos in the league, and Dundalk fans will be hoping to see success achieved once more in darker colours this campaign – as they look to wrestle the title back from Cork City over the coming months.
Regardless of whether or not they achieve that, we’re sure we’ll see plenty of fans across the country wearing this one over the course of the campaign.
